"Before I had a child, I never really understood what it meant when people would say "It takes a village to raise a child." I thought it was just an old saying and maybe that was the case hundreds of years ago when people actually lived in villages, but surely that doesn't apply to modern living, right? Boy, was I wrong!! I now know that a child needs many diverse experiences, they need to learn from people other than his family, and they need to meet and love people of all shapes, colors, sizes, and religions. So many people have questioned my choice to continue working after having my son, but the most common question I get is 'how can you let strangers raise your child?' After calming myself down (why are people still asking this question of mothers??), I respond with this: They may have been strangers when we first walked in the door, but they immediately became our extended family who love my son just as much as I do, they teach him things that I would have never thought to teach him, and they have shown him what it means to be a good friend to EVERYONE he meets. That is something that I won't regret or be made to feel guilty about for a single second. I feel so lucky to be able to say that and really mean it because this is just what all of you do for our family! I am so grateful for somehow landing in the Artisan village and will always cherish the many memories that we've had with all of you over the last 3+ years." 

"We did extensive research into daycares in Winchester, Arlington, and Woburn, and Artisan was clearly superior. It is a bright, clean facility with engaging, energetic teachers. They place a special emphasis on music (daily music classes with a dedicated music teacher) and green living (the building is eco-friendly and the students help in the garden). I HIGHLY recommend this place."

"Excellent! We chose Artisan for our 3 month old after experiencing a filthy and dark facility nearby. My little boy is now 13 months old and we have been thrilled we chose Artisan. The grounds are lovely and my son loves going outside for walks or to play in the infant sandbox. He LOVES his music class with Miss Nona and dances to music we play at home (I'm convinced it's the early exposure to music he received at Artisan). The staff work to accomodate parents' wishes, and they are very attentive to the children. The staff all have bachelors or masters degrees in education or child development and they help the children hit all of their appropriate milestones (rolling over, walking, talking, etc). The facility is clean and bright with lots of windows, bird feeders outside, etc. I really can't say enough about this place. It's the best place for us and we truly feel like we have are partners in raising our child as opposed to a place where we just drop him off."

"This center is the best I have seen. The space is so open, warm, and clean! The teachers are highly qualified and they genuinely care about integrating arts (music, painting, etc.) into the curriculum. I feel at ease that I'm giving my child the very best when I leave her at the center."

"My daughter is enrolled in Artisan Childcare Center. She was one of the first children to enroll at the Center. This is her first experience being away from home for any period of time without me or her dad. Initially she had a challenging time transitioning to "school", but my partnering with the teachers and with the help and support of the wonderful teachers she has gained the confidence and trust to enjoy being at school. Each morning now at drop off, she hurries pass me to put her lunchbox away and then quickly goes into her classroom to greet her teachers. There are many mornings now that she leaves me standing at the door without our good–bye hug and kiss. She closes the classroom door with a smile and says "bye—bye." We are very happy with the experience she is having making new friends, having daily exposure to music and all that she is learning each day she attends."

"We love the Artisan Childcare Center and our child looks forward to going every day. The teachers are not only experienced and educated but also warm and nurturing with the children. The Center is stunning with bamboo flooring throughout and furnished with all high—end wood materials. The rates are reasonable and the children get piano lessons every day which is included in the tuition. The outdoor play space is huge and surrounded by a beautiful wooded area. We highly recommend this center and suggest you visit and see it for yourself."

“You and the team do a great job of communicating with us and keeping us informed on all the good (and bad with the viruses going around) happening in class. I love the daily updates and the photos of the kids in action. Really impressed by the teachers and the care and attention given to the class to ensure a positive and productive learning experience for them.
